Placements
Your first 5 duels are placements. Your rank stays hidden until they're done, then you land wherever your results put you.
Rating movement
Rating swings are larger during placements and while you're new, then settle down. Beating a higher-rated opponent is worth more than beating a lower-rated one.
Draws and voids
Draws return both wagers and leave rating untouched. If anti-cheat voids a duel, your wager comes back and the match is set aside for review.
